To ensure the safety and well-being of every furry client and our staff, we have established a few important guidelines. Understanding these policies helps us provide the best possible care for your beloved pet. Please review the information below before your appointment.

Dematting policy

We do not recommend or enjoy dematting, as it can be a lengthy and uncomfortable process for some pets. Pets who are not brushed or groomed regularly may have difficulty tolerating extensive brushing, especially when mats are tight against the skin. If your pet's matting is severe and cannot be safely brushed out, they may need to be shaved. A $10-30 severe matting fee will apply to cover the additional time, equipment wear, and care required to safely remove severe matting. We will always let you know before proceeding with a shave.

Pickup policy

Please pick up your pet within 30 minutes of being notified that they are ready. We understand that things can come up, so please let us know in advance if you need an earlier notice or if you need your pet to stay a little longer. If you require additional time, please provide an estimated time of arrival.

Aggressive & difficult pets

For the safety of your pet and mine, I do not accept pets that display aggressive behavior or dogs that cannot be safely handled. I will always give your pet a fair chance and do my best to work with them safely and patiently. However, if at any point I feel that continuing the groom puts your pet's safety or mine at risk, I will stop the service.
